Jobber AI Receptionist cost and what it does

Jobber's AI Receptionist costs $29 a month, added to a Jobber plan. The cheapest way to have it is Core plus Receptionist: $58 a month on annual billing or $78 month to month for one user. Jobber's pricing and feature pages don't state a limit on calls or minutes.

What Jobber says it does

  • Answers calls and texts 24/7, and handles several at the same time.
  • Answers questions using the services and details already in your Jobber account.
  • Books visits during the call, using your online booking settings.
  • When a job can't be booked, creates a work request or takes a message as a task.
  • Texts back callers who hang up.
  • Transfers the call or texts you when it hears keywords you choose ("burst pipe", "no heat", a commercial account).
  • Keeps a summary, full transcript and recording of every call and text.
  • Works with your existing number through call forwarding, after hours or after a set number of rings.

Jobber runs a public demo line, 737-388-0043 in the US, where you can call the receptionist yourself. A "Receptionist Companion" that drafts quotes while you take a call is marked coming soon.

What Jobber doesn't say

  • How many calls, texts or minutes the $29 covers, or whether there is an overage charge.
  • Whether the add-on is included in the 14-day free trial.

How it compares

Housecall Pro sells its own AI answering add-on, CSR AI, but its pricing page shows no price for it. Standalone AI receptionists sold to trades are priced separately; we'll add them to the price index as we read their pages.
